| One of the distinct advantages of having Albion College in the heart of our community is instant access to 1,600 bright, creative, and motivated young men and women. The liberal arts program taught at Albion not only exposes students to new ideas and ways of thinking; it also prepares them to be effective communicators and leaders in their chosen professions. This benefits not only the students, but the entire community.
The business community benefits as well, because Albion's strength lies in its ability to provide a humanistic, liberal-arts education and at the same time give its students valuable experience and pre-professional instruction. As a component of this, the College heavily promotes internships, especially through the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Public Policy and Service and the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management.
Since the 1990s, scores of Albion College students have interned with Albion-area businesses, non-profits, or other institutions. Interest continues to grow on campus, so contact the EDC or Albion College for more information. |
